Sweet is the look upon your face
that gathers upon your every embrace.
Sweet is the sound of your voice in my ear
that spills forth the words that draw me near.
Sweet is the taste of your every kiss
that as soon as you leave I longingly miss.
Sweet is the way you gently tussle my hair
to better view my face with ever so much care.
Sweet is the feeling that grows in my heart
but pains me so greatly when we are apart.
